How’s the Market?
That’s the million-dollar question, right? It’s the one people ask at parties, the one we should have an “elevator speech” ready to address. But real estate is VERY local and nuanced, no matter what the sensational national news headlines would lead you to believe.
In the DC Metro area, we are fortunate to have an economy buoyed by many influences. We’re not a midwest factory town with only one industry and we’re not a vacation rental market dependent on disposable income. Buyers find the Odenton area especially appealing because of the relatively easy commute to Baltimore, D.C., Annapolis, Columbia, and BWI. For dual-income households, this means lots of employment opportunities. Families with children have many education options, and everyone can enjoy convenient access to health care, cultural opportunities, and recreation.
Two Rivers is at the heart of it all and is richer in amenities than most. The recent construction offers the quality and style of homes buyers expect.
We predict 2023 will bring a more “normal” market than we’ve seen in the past few years. Interest rates have stabilized to a more historically normal level and buyers will still be ready to buy well-priced, well-maintained homes. If you’re considering selling, we’d love to help.
